I’d smother a small animal for tickets to this. Worth it for £55? I wish I had the money!! Maybe I’ll ask ma famille for two tickets as a bday gift..

Postcards from Italy by Beirut. Been getting into Beirut again; dunno why I didn’t like this song the first time I heard it. I used to think it was really meh but I love the beginning and of course the instrumentation, the way it builds up (like a lot of Beirut songs do) blah blah etc. Perhaps the lyrics speak to me too, I dunno though.

Also, je voulais-te dire que je pense que tu es une petite putain. If I could stand to speak to you, I’d tell you to your face.

My friend Skip is visiting from America so we took him out to Proud in Camden last night. It’s nice seeing him again, was a really good night. We were only in Proud for an hour and a half but it was worth it. Shame it closes at 2.30. One thing that pissed me off was that they watered down the shots. I bought a round of vodka shots and they were like half water, argh. Music was ok though and it’s a cool place so I’d go back. A few guys on the dance floor pulled my hair though, dunno why it annoyed me so much. Was two different groups of guys too. Wtf is up with that? I know it’s quite long now but really? What are we, in kindergarten? I was very close to hitting one of them but I guess that wouldn’t have been clever because as much as I’d like to think I can I probably can’t hold my own in a fight against a guy in a club, hah. Anyway, we went to Russian Bar in east London afterwards and that was cool (apparently only for 21 and above, we had to negotiate a bit haha). Only got home at 6 though and as a result I’m already crashing at 15.30; need some more sleep or some coffee! Last night was the first time I actually enjoyed going out since October. Things are looking up for Fazzles.

That is all.
